Overview
Today, the term White tea primarily denotes a class of Camellia sinensis products manufactured simply by plucking, withering, and bake-drying the leaves. As such, white teas are the least processed leaves among the true teas. However, they are neither the least oxidized of the true teas, nor do they necessarily have the least amount of caffeine.
