Overview

Japanese teaware is extremely functional and is designed with two major tasks in mind. First are teapots and cups optimized for the enjoyment of Japanese green tea like Sencha. Other teaware is focused on the preparation of Matcha, a powdered green tea. Such tools are the basis of the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Besides being pragmatic, artisan teawares from the six ancient klins can have a very pleasing and unique aesthetic.
