Shui Xian

Overview
Shui Xian is a Oolong tea from the Fujian Province of south-east China. Higher quality examples of this tea are from the Wuyi Mountains, and thus properly classified as Yancha, other versions of the tea can be grown as far away as Taiwan. The tea is characterized by it's heavy roasting, resulting a a dark, strong Oolong with a heavy honey fragrance. Cheaper varieties may also have a "burnt" taste to them. Theis tea also exhibts the standard features of Yancha, including the mineral-like finish.
