Shouzhen Cheng (1865-1939) was also named Bingxin Daoren , from Shangan Village, Yixing. He is the well-known artist from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China.

 He is the first person to win the Zisha Teapot award at the International Exhibition. One of his work -- Drop-ball pot was once awarded the first prize of "Panama international exhibition" in 1915, and the Excellence Award by the Chicago Exposition in 1932. Shouzhen’s works are simple, but dignified and perfect.

Jianming Cheng, craft artist, potter, and the member of Chinese Arts Association, Jiangsu Ceramics Industry Association, Zisha Industry Association. He was Born in 1962, from Zisha village, Dingshu,Yixing, the third direct generation of Shouzhen. With good Zisha art background, Jianming learned making teapot with his parents after graduation from high school. He has been three decades of making teapot with the guide of a number of famous people. Himself also did much research on making teapot with the traditional way, and also good at hand-made teapot. His work, drop-ball teapot won the gold medal of the First Shantou Tea Culture Expo. Lianzi teapot was permanently collected in Wuxi Museum.
