"Green Snail Springtime" (also transliterated as Pi Lo Chun)
This name, which refers to the shape of the tea, may also be applied to teas from other provinces, although properly speaking, Bi Luo Chun should only refer to the tea made in one particular way from the Dong Ting Lake region of Jiangsu province.
The particularly small and hairy appearance of the dry leaves is the result of rigorous rolling of the leaves between the hands during the firing process.
